Tribute to Michelangelo - Louisville, KY

The replica of Michelangelo’s David stands 30’ tall, perched atop an 8 foot pedestal, is made of foam and sprayed gold by Turkish artist, Serkan Ozkaya. The statue originated in Istanbul and made its way to New York. It is now owned by the 21C Museum Hotel chain and stands outside their hotel in Louisville, KY.

Located at: Southwest corner of West Main St. and South 7th St., in front of the 21c Museum Hotel.
