The Molly Maguire Historical Park - Mahanoy City, PA

The monument pays tribute to the Molly Maguires, Irish immigrants, that worked in the anthracite mines. At least 20 miners were hung between 1877 and 1879 for crimes associated with the Molly Maguires group.
