The Federal Pointe Inn Gettysburg, Ascend Hotel Collection - Gettysburg, PA

This historic Gettysburg landmark was built in 1896 and as the Meade School. Originally built as the first high school in Gettysburg, this majestic building is a blend of federal and gothic architectural features in the historic downtown district.

This iconic building was transformed into a beautiful 23 suite upscale boutique hotel in 2012, when Peter Monahan purchased the Meade School property with his wife Elizabeth (a professor at Mount St. Mary's University). Today it is known as the Federal Pointe Inn; charming and award-winning luxury suites.
