Steinway Pianos Huff Music Ghost Sign - Bethlehem, PA
Almer Charles Huff apprenticed as a carriage maker. After 8 years in the trade he left to run a sewing-machine/sundry shop on Main Street in Bethlehem. He eventually added pianos to his inventory. He also sold an array of other instruments including banjos and ukuleles. As the business grew he eventually moved to the 5 story building at 53-55 South Main in 1919.
Almer C. Huff was born in 1869 in Lehigh County to David & Messina Huff. He died August 14, 1941 in Scranton, PA. He is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bethlehem.
