Sonic Bloom - Seattle, WA
Sonic Bloom, five sculpted flowers standing 40 feet tall, are located outside the Pacific Science Center and at the base of the Space Needle, Seattle WA. Each petal is 20 feet wide.
The flowers, created by artist Dan Corson, are solar powered. Mr. Corson created Sonic Bloom on behalf of Seattle’s Green Up program in 2013. For 5 hours each night the flowers put on a color changing show. When you walk around the flowers they interact with you by singing harmonic tones
