Updated: Sep 7, 2022

Shady Mountain Market began in the summer of 2007. The owner sold baked goods at a local yard sale. The baked goods were a huge hit, so she began baking pastries for local stands.

The bakery began in their kitchen and gradually moved into their garage. In 2009, the bakery moved to their storage shed.

Family and friends helped to bake pumpkin rolls, cookies and whoopie pies.

In the summer of 2011 they relocated to Dryville Road and moved the bakery into their basement and sold items on the porch at Echo Hill in Fleetwood, PA. Their business expanded and so did their employees.

In 2013, they built a storage shed and opened a roadside stand. In 2017, they built a combined bakery and store in Fleetwood, PA and opened in October 2017.

They sell fresh fruits & vegetables, baked goods, breads, frozen casseroles and soups, jams & jellies, relish, lunch meats & home decor. If in the Fleetwood area you must definitely stop by and support this family business.
