Shades of Death Trail - Hickory Run State Park

Shades of Death Trail is located in Hickory Run State Park.  The trail follows the Sand Spring Run for about 1.5 miles one way.  

There are beautiful waterfalls and, depending on the time of year, gorgeous rhododendrons and unique rock formations.

There is a dam that is a great place to stop for a picnic.
