The Seattle Great Wheel, located at Pier 57, Elliot Bay, is 175 feet tall, has 42 enclosed gondolas that can seat up to 8 passengers, and covered in 500,000 LED lights..

The Great Wheel opened in June 2012. It is the tallest ferris wheel on the west coast.

If you are terrified of heights, like me, there is a bar where you can purchase alcohol before getting on the Great Wheel.
