Racing’s North Turn Restaurant and Racing Museum

The North Turn Restaurant and Racing Museum is located where racing history began. The races started in 1936 and ran on the beach of Daytona until 1958. At that time NASCAR relocated the racetrack to a new Super Speedway. In 2007 the Racing’s North Turn was designated as a Historical Landmark.

On our plane ride back to Pennsylvania, a gentleman sat next to me and asked what I was in Florida for. He told me that his son recently purchased the Racing’s North Turn Restaurant and Racing Museum and he was helping him to renovate. What a small world!

Located at 4511 South Atlantic Avenue, Ponce Inlet, FL
