Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar - Pittsburgh, PA

It all started during the Great Depression in 1933, when Joe Primanti was operating a small sandwich cart in PIttsburgh’s now historic Strip District. This became quickly successful, so Joe was able to open a storefront.

The Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar have been in business for over 80 years. They are known for their specialty loaded sandwiches, homemade coleslaw and fresh cut fries. Today there are 37 Primaniti Bros. located in PA, WV, OH, MI sand MD.

We ate at the Pittsburgh historic Strip District location. We were surprised by the large portions you receive. You definitely will not leave there hungry.
