Mural of Roberto Clemente on Verdetto's Bar and Restaurant - Pittsburgh, PA

Updated: Oct 15, 2021

In 2018, the mural of Pittsburgh Pirates legend Roberto Clemente was revealed and can be seen in Pittsburgh’s North Side. The baseball icon mural is a 40-foot-high portrait on the side of Verdetto’s Bar and Restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. The mural is visible to drivers as they head onto the Parkway North.

The Verdetto family once met Clemente, and still have an autograph that he signed for them in the late ‘60s.

Artist Jeremy Raymer created the mural. He has painted more than 60 murals in 16 local neighborhoods, including a Sasquatch in Deutschtown, an eagle in Braddock, a wasp in Freeport and a donut-happy Homer Simpson in Lawrenceville. For more information on Jeremy, click HERE.

Verdetto's Bar and Restaurant is Pittsburgh Northside's favorite neighborhood pub. Located at: 814 Madison Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 19512. To follow them on FB, click HERE.
