Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory - Louisville, KY

We took a 30 minute tour to learn the history of bats and how they are made. I never realized that Hillerich and Bradsby own 6,500 acres of timberland in Pennsylvania and New York where they harvest ash & maple trees to make their bats.

Approximately 1.8 million bats are made every year. Both my son & I found this to be a very informative tour and would definitely recommend going if you are in the Louisville, KY area.
