Lock Ridge Iron Furnace - Alburtis, PA
Lock Ridge Iron Furnace began in 1868 in Alburtis, PA. The Lock Ridge complex is one of only two remaining furnaces of the many that were in Pennsylvania.
Lock Ridge is a popular area to have photos taken in the blue bell field during the spring, class photos, prom photos, engagement & wedding photos. Lock Ridge also has a small walking trail and a museum.
Lock Ridge operated as an iron mill from 1868 until 1921. Lehigh County acquired the Furnace in 1972. In 1981, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places
