Lindley Murray One-Room Historic Schoolhouse - Lebanon, PA
This 25 by 30 foot one-room schoolhouse housed grades 1 thru 8 from 1850 until January of 1947. It then housed a government paint shop for 26 years. In 1973, Thomas Donmoyer and a group of students from Northern Lebanon High School began the restoration of Lindley Murray School. The renovation was completed in 1976, in time for the nation’s Bicentennial celebration.
