Keith Haring Fitness Court - Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA

Kutztown University now offers a state-of-the art outdoor fitness center which has been named the Keith Haring Fitness Court. This center is designed to help promote health and wellness in the community.

Keith Haring was a legendary activist and artist who revolutionized pop art through his graffiti-like pieces. Haring, a Kutztown native, later traveled to New York where his artwork became widely recognized to many.

The fitness court is located on the corner of Baldy Street and Normal Avenue, on the Kutztown University campus.

Kutztown Park, Kutztown, PA

On a hillside in Kutztown Park is a red sculpture "Figure Balancing on Dog" 1989 by Kutztown native Keith Haring. It is located between the park's baseball field and playground but is not easily visible from the street.

As popular as Keith Haring was in the art world we are surprised more of his art is not showcased around Kutztown.
