Hite House - Stoystown, PA

The Hite House is located at 121 West Main Street, Stoystown, Somerset County, PA. The house was built in 1853 by John H. Hite. Mr. Hite operated the hotel until his death in 1901. The hotel was well know along the Lincoln Highway (Route 30) during its heyday.
In 1998 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is now owned by the Monarch Management Group and is apartments for people 62 years and older.
