Harriet Tubman Statue - Bristol, PA

We recently watched a movie on the life of Harriet Tubman. WOW! What an amazing brave woman. While in the Philadelphia area we decided we needed to stop by Bristol to visit her statue.

Harriet Tubman worked selflessly to help slaves from the south to freedom in the north. During the Civil War she worked with Union soldiers to free southern slaves and was also a fierce advocate for civil and women’s rights.

Whenever you are asked who you would want to sit down and have a conversation with about their life, beside my grandmother or Dee her father - our answer - Harriet Tubman. We want to know how she found the fearlessness and strength to do all that she did. Can you imagine the stories she would tell?
