Glessner Covered Bridge - near Shanksville, Somerset County.

The Glessner Covered Bridge is near Shanksville, Somerset County. This historic bridge was built in 1881 by Tobias Glessner and rebuilt in 1998. It is a 90 feet long, multiple Kingpost truss bridge, with half-height plank siding and a tin covered gable roof. The bridge spans the Stonycreek River. It is one of 10 covered bridges in Somerset County.
