Gettysburg National Cemetery - Gettysburg, PA
Updated: Aug 18, 2022
Gettysburg National Cemetery is a United States national cemetery created for Union/Federal casualties of the Battle of Gettysburg and the Civil War. It marks the final resting place for those who gave their lives. President Abraham Lincoln delivered his Gettysburg Address at the cemetery.
In addition to the more than 3,500 Union soldiers buried here, the cemetery contains the remains of American soldiers and dependents from the Civil War to Vietnam.
This was a very peaceful walk to remember the brave soldiers that gave their lives.
