Daniel Boone Homestead - Birdsboro, PA

Daniel Boone Homestead is the birthplace of American frontiersman, Daniel Boone. Daniel Boone is best known for his exploration and settlement of the region now known as Kentucky. He was a wanderer for most of his life; enjoyed exploring and hunting in the Bluegrass.

When you visit you will get a sense of what rural life was like in the 18th century. Tour the Boone House, Smokehouse, Blacksmith Shop, Homestead Barn, Bertolet Sawmill, and Bertolet log house with bakehouse.
