Colvin Covered Bridge - Schellsburg, PA

Colvin Covered Bridge in Schellsburg is one of the oldest covered bridges in Bedford County. Built in 1894 and refurbished in 1997 it crosses the Shawnee Creek and is 66 feet long.

The Colvin Bridge along with the Palo Alto Bridge is one of two multiple king post bridges in the county; a third, the McDaniels, was destroyed by fire on Easter Sunday in 1988.
