Boomer the Dino Dog - New Hope, PA
Boomer the Dino Dog sculpture was created by Dana Stewart. It was installed in 2003 for the New Hope Annual Outdoor Sculpture Show. People fell in love with Boomer and it became a permanent fixture next to Delaware Canal State Park.
Boomer has an outrageously long tail, turned up snout, has a muscular build and appears to look like a monster of some sort. He is frightening but charming and is a beloved creature of the New Hope community.
Dana Stewart, Boomer’s sculpture, lives and works right across the river from him. Stewart is known to create sculptures of beasts and creatures that resemble Boomer.
