Bethlehem Station & The Wooden Match - Bethlehem, PA

The Bethlehem Station (Central Railroad of NewJersey) was constructed in 1873. Passenger service ended on August 18, 1967.


The station was a stop for Presidents Teddy Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman on their “whistle stop” campaign.


In 1976 the station was converted to the Lehigh Street Depot restaurant and shut down in 2010. In 2013 the Wooden Match restaurant opened.
