Ballerina Statue- Haddonfield, NJ
The six-foot wide, six-foot tall, and 200 pound ballerina statue was created by sculptor Barry Woods-Johnson who was inspired by a dancer he saw in a Broadway production of “Dance” in the 1960s. Barry created the sculpture in Italy but brought it to his home in Baltimore.
The statue was placed at the circle of Haddon Avenue and Ellis Street in January, 2019, and has been on loan to Haddonfield for 2 years.
The townspeople hope that when visitors come into town they realize that Haddonfield isn’t just a historic town, but a town that celebrates the arts.
