Adam & Bright Drugstore - Hamburg, PA

We found this drugstore on “One Tank Trips”, from the 69news . In June of 2021, we made a quick stop to the Adam & Bright Drugstore in Hamburg, PA, which has been in business since 1902. We were greeted by two friendly ladies; later to find out they were the Pharmacist & Technician. They even made our milkshakes! Now that’s service.

Adam & Bright is the only full service drug store with working soda fountains in Berks County. The store has the original soda fountain from 1929, original decor displayed throughout the drugstore, medicine bottles, vintage cardboard advertisements, an assortment of 10 cent candy & even an old school pharmacy. They sell an assortment of sodas, ice cream sodas, floats, milkshakes, sundaes, ice cream & sandwiches.

Authentic places like this are hard to find & it is definitely worth a trip to visit!
